All our rooms were fully renovated with luxury and comfort in mind. Each room is equipped with a dedicated workspace, a flat-screen smart TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, complimentary Bramley toiletries, a hairdryer, and an ironing board. The classic rooms offer views of the Mendip Hills, and all rooms come with full coffee and tea-making facilities, as well as a mini fridge stocked with juices and fresh milk. Four-legged friends are also warmly welcomed (surcharge applied). Our guests can enjoy a bountiful continental buffet and a selection of hot food, including a Full English or vegetarian breakfast. Free off-street parking and secure bike storage are available.

Classic Rooms

Our classic rooms offer stunning, far-reaching views of the Mendip Hills and overlook the pub gardens. These superior double or twin rooms feature en-suite walk-in showers and are furnished with a leather armchair, a writing desk equipped with plenty of sockets and recharging outlets.

Family Rooms

The family room includes a double/twin bed and an additional sofa bed, which is large enough to accommodate two children. This room offers views of the village of Rudge and the quiet country lane. The spacious en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and a large standalone double bath.

We have just returned from our third stay at the The Full Moon Inn. The 17th-century historic building is beautiful and has been renovated to a very high standard, perfectly blending original character with modern luxury. The room was spacious, featuring high-quality finishes and incredibly comfortable beds. We ate at the restaurant on a couple of nights and the food was outstanding, especially the freshly made, cooked-to-order breakfast. Located in a quiet rural setting yet close to local attractions and convenient as a stop over for longer journeys, it's the ideal base for a peaceful country trip. The staff are attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. We will definitely be back ....

Visited with my son while staying in the area and couldn’t have had a better experience. We walked in quite late on the Friday evening when they were extremely busy. I mentioned that we hadn’t booked and, although they were fully booked, they very kindly managed to squeeze the two of us in, which was hugely appreciated. The food was exceptional and the service was equally impressive. We enjoyed it so much that we returned over the weekend, and every member of staff we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The locals were just as welcoming too, which gave the place a really warm and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. A huge thank you to the whole team for looking after us and making both me and my son feel so welcome. We’ll definitely return when we’re back in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at the Full Moon Inn Rudge. The accommodation was lovely and spotlessly clean. The cosy bar was a great place to relax, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend and visit again!

We stayed here stopping off on our way to Cornwall and what a gorgeous find. When we arrived, the pub had such a welcoming atmosphere, dogs and kids running around. The room was clean, newly refurbished with everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was superb. Thanks for a great stop off!

Absolutely excellent in every way. The rooms were really nice and well provisioned with good quality items and toiletries. There were even lovely little bottles of real milk in the fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable . The rest of the Inn was equally nice. Food was local, fresh and well prepared. Service was perfect.
